We are currently seeking passionate and qualified individuals to join our team as part-time math tutors. Job Description:

As a Math Tutor at Mathnasium, you will be responsible for assisting Elementary, Middle School, and High School students in mastering mathematical concepts. You will work closely with students, providing personalized instruction, and helping them build a strong foundation in math. This position requires clear communication, patience, and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching math.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions for students in grades K-12.
• Assist students with homework, test preparation, and understanding challenging math concepts.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment to enhance students' confidence and interest in math.
• Collaborate with colleagues and center managers to track students' progress and tailor tutoring sessions accordingly.
• Maintain a flexible schedule including after-school hours and rotating weekends.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing education with a major in Math or Education (Associate degree preferred).
• Minimum of 1 year of teaching math experience (preferred).
• Minimum of 2 years of tutoring experience (preferred).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with students of various age groups.
• Teamwork, multitasking, and prior experience in a learning center, classroom teaching, or tutoring are advantageous.
