TOPS magazine is Lexington’s Who’s Who, What’s New, and What To Do publication! We have a rare opening for a talented Graphic Designer who can also manage other important duties.

This position will work closely with our Editorial Team and our Advertising Sales Team. This glossy, monthly lifestyle publication is known for its high-quality content and readability. Our readers and advertisers praise the magazine as a “must read” for the Lexington area.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Client Magazine and Digital ADs Creation

-Sponsored Content Creation

-Editorial Content Creation

PRODUCTION DUTIES:

-Magazine MAP Build - Includes AD and Content Placement

-Oversee ADs sold and AD/Content Ratio for monthly page count

-Manage AD’s Received and Magazine Manager Reports

-Oversee Editorial Planner Creation and Updates alongside the Editor-In-Chief

-Oversee monthly upload of magazine pages and Submit Final Approval for Print

-Oversee Advertorial Feature material from Sales Reps for Creation

-AD/Advertorial Material Update Emails to Sales Rep when needed

GO TO PRESS/UPLOAD - Monday-Wednesday in the last week of the month - Expect long days.

SKILLS NEEDED:

-Google Programs: Google Sheets, Google Drive, etc.

-Storage/File Programs: Dropbox, WeTransfer, etc.

-Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator

-File Handling + Exporting for Print

-Handling Multiple Projects and Deadlines
