This is a remote part-time Mathematics Tutor - Middle school math and Algebra 1 role. The Mathematics Tutor will work with students one-on-one, in small and/or whole groups, providing instruction, feedback, and knowledge of middle school and algebra concepts. The tutor will assess student needs, progress monitor, and help improve academic performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's /associate's degree in Mathematics, Physics, or related field
• Strong technology skills; must have the ability to work with various educational platforms
• Proven expertise in online tutoring; high impact and engaging
• Previous tutoring or teaching experience is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
• Availability to work 6 hours per day, 30 hours per week
• Prior experience with online teaching is a plus

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20 per hour
