Commercial Kitchen Operations Specialist

Position Overview:

We're searching for a passionate and dedicated individual to join our operations team on a seasonal part-time hourly basis. This role is central to our company's success, demanding attention to detail, a hands-on approach, and a strong focus on product quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure product quality is maintained at the highest standard – strong attention to detail and ability to be very neat
• Prepare and pack treat kits in our commercial kitchen – a variety of products including cheese, charcuterie, and baked goods. Daily tasks will include packing/sealing bags of flour, spices, sugars, baking cookies, filling bags of frosting, etc.
• Handle and organize ingredients and finished products
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and work areas

Requirements:

• A genuine passion for product quality and enhancing customer experience.
• Experience in commercial kitchens, with preference for those who have worked in bakeries
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to stay on one’s feet for prolonged periods and perform physically demanding tasks
• Must be able to lift and move items weighing up to 50 pounds

Additional Information:

• This position is strictly on-site; however, we value work-life balance and are willing to offer flexible hours for the right candidate
• Experience in a bakery (cookie baking) or a similar setting will significantly strengthen your application

Pay is $15/hr. This is a seasonal, part time position.
