Duties:

- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Scan items, ensure pricing is correct, and collect payments
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
- Assist customers with any inquiries or concerns
- Bag purchases and offer carry-out assistance as needed
- Process returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies
- Follow all safety and security procedures

Experience:

- Previous cashier or retail experience preferred but not required
- Basic math skills to handle cash transactions and calculate change accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Familiarity with retail math concepts such as discounts, sales tax, and percentages is a plus
- Experience in a kitchen or food service environment is beneficial for cashiers working in a restaurant setting

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Weekly day range:

• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed

• Cashier: 1 year (Preferred)
