Diesel Engine Mechanic
Duties:
- Engine overhaul shop, Cat, Cummins, Detroit Diesel
- Disassemble, clean, order parts, and reassemble engines
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex engine and drivetrain problems
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines when working on vehicles and equipment
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must provide ones own hand tools
- Proven experience as a mechanic or in a similar role
- Able to lift 50lbs
- Strong knowledge of engine mechanics
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment
- Ability to interpret technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
