We’re a modern Mexican restaurant located in the historic Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, DC. Amparo is a reflection of contemporary Mexican cuisine while exploring and honoring the authentic flavors of Mexico’s diverse heritage with a focus on its bountiful coastal regions.

The day at Amparo begins at sunrise and we don't close our door until the end of dinner service. We're in search of early risers excited to greet the day as well as the night owls that keep our cities' restaurants buzzing with excitement well into the evening. This allows for greater flexibility in scheduling, as well as opportunities for people with limited availability during typical restaurant hours.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to seize, grasp, turn and hold objects with hands.
Must be able to work on your feet for at least 8 hours.
Fast paced movements are required to go from one part of the restaurant to another.
Must be able to move, pull, carry, or lift at least 50 pounds.
Occasionally kneel, bend, crouch and climb as required.
Must be able to stand, walk, lift, bend and climb stairs for long periods of time.
Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, reach, push, twist, walk, crouch, and squat.

Our menu is expansive and atypical of Mexican cuisine in the United States. This dedication to authenticity brings with it a catalog of exciting and uncommon ingredients which you will be expected to speak to with confidence. You understand the concept of extreme ownership. Extraordinary attention to detail, exacting focus, and front-of-house experience is a must. This role requires dedication, passion, creativity, and the ability to persevere through challenging services while constantly striving to maintain the standards of Amparo Fondita.
