PITTSBURGH, PA (LOCAL CANDIDATES): Dual-working family searching for a professional, flexible FULL-TIME, LIVE-IN OR LIVE-OUT NANNY/HOUSEHOLD MANAGER hybrid to join their family long-term. They have 4 children (10,8,5, and 3), 3 of which are school-aged children. They are looking for someone who is able to work a split schedule, if LIVE-IN, in order to get all children to-and-from their school and activities, and trade off with Mom in being home with the youngest child. They are also willing to be flexible with the schedule with a LIVE-OUT candidate. They are looking for someone who is responsible and organized, is a great driver, and can be fun and creative while also providing and ensuring boundaries. The parents are looking for a true team player to join their squad. Flexibility is asked and will be returned! 

Their eldest daughter (10) is creative, smart, and a big thinker. She enjoys quality friendships rather than acquaintances. She does Irish dance competitively, she also swims, cheers and skis. Their son (8) is devoted, passionate, sporty and very outgoing. He prefers to play with others rather than alone. He loves Pokemon, video games and reading. He loves sports. Their second oldest daughter (5) is a very sweet girl who plays very well independently but can also be a bit dramatic. Their youngest daughter (3) is demonstrative toddler, is good with her manners, enjoys crafts and pretend play. She loves mommy and struggles when she is out of town.

The family is working through their needs so might be flexible, but the current split schedule currently looks like 6am-9:30am for morning routines and transportation. There would be a break in the day until the afternoon/evening shift roughly from 1:30pm-8:30pm. The afternoon will consist of picking up the children from school, if necessary, and preparing an early dinner around 4:45pm. They eat prior to their various activities that mom and nanny will split/swap depending on the day. The family will return home after activities and proceed with bedtime routines. 

In addition to caring for the children, the family is looking for someone who can also perform household management tasks. For example, changing over the children's clothes for seasons, keeping track of clothes that have been outgrown and creating a list of needed items, updating the grocery app when items are running low for the household, grocery shopping etc.

The family lives in a nice suburban neighborhood. All points of interest are car rides away. The family will provide a family car to use while on the job. The family also has a second home in Ligonier, PA that they spend significant time in, including 6-8 weeks during the summer. The family would ask that the nanny travel with them as often as possible, especially during the summer (at least during the week, nanny may be able to go home on weekends if preferred). They also do have one small dog, so must be pet-friendly! 

Start date is ASAP. Pay rate is $25+ gross pay, via payroll, depending upon experience. Nanny must have MMR, TDAP, Covid and Flu vaccines. Paid sick days, holidays, and vacation included.
