Role Description

We currently have botth full and part time hours available for a Caregiver position at Heartsong Homecare Co-op.The Caregiver will be responsible for providing compassionate and skilled personal care to seniors and persons with disabilities, assisting with activities of daily living, including, but not limited too: Personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, medication reminders, and transportation. The Caregiver will work under the direction of the care manager to provide individualized care that meets the needs and preferences of each client.

Qualifications

• Experience in personal care, including bathing, dressing, and lifting/moving assistance (a plus, but will train)
• Experience working with seniors and persons with disabilities
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Previous experience in home care or related field is a plus
• Certification as a nursing assistant or home care aide is a plus
• Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment
• Must be able to pass a Washington State background check and provide references from previous employers
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required
