Ashworth Road Animal Hospital in West Des Moines is seeking a full-time Certified Veterinary Technician (please do not apply if you are not licensed) to join our hard-working and fun work family. We are a cat/dog/exotic pet practice and we are certified Cat Friendly. No night hours & no on-call! We have in-house lab, ultrasound, therapy & surgical lasers, and digital radiography. Communication skills are essential as well as ability to work in a team-centered environment. The CVT/LVT must be proficient at phlebotomy, anethetic induction & monitoring, taking general and dental x-rays, and taking patient histories. Growth potential to become a head technician or practice manager for the right candidate.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week

• Associate in Veterinary Technology (Required)

Experience:

• Veterinary technician or assistant experience: at least 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• veterinary technician license (Required)
