We are currently looking to hire two baristas before October 15th! Please only apply if you have previous barista experience.

• Our ideal candidate is able to work at a Coffee Shop with a fast-paced self-starter environment and takes initiative to get things done around the shop during slower times.
• Requirements: Experience as a Specialty Barista, Passion for Coffee, Weekday and Weekend Availability, Positive Energy, Good with People :)

Barista Responsibilities:

• Shifts are 6:15AM - 3:00PM on Weekdays and 7:15AM - 2:00PM on Weekends. We are looking for someone to work 6 weekends shifts and up work 2 shifts per week.
• Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, and specialty beverages
• Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils, and equipment
• Cleaning service and seating areas
• Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers
• Servicing customers and taking orders
• Restocking items for behind the bar and for customer enjoyment
• Recording Inventory

Alongside some of these more general skills, good Baristas should possess:

• Great communication skills
• A happy, friendly personality
• Customer service skills and knowledge
• High level of attention-to-detail
• Enthusiasm to develop your skills and knowledge
• Adaptable to change and willing to embrace new ideas and processes
• Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work
• Positive and approachable manner
• Clean mannered mindset
