Dazzling Discoveries and Skill Mill NYC, a Manhattan NYC based education program and makerspace has openings for a full time manager/educator and part time after school teachers. Skill Mill NYC is a digital fabrication studio specializing in engineering programs for children using laser cutting, 3D printing, digital design, sewing, electronics, robotics, science and crafts. . 

 Job requirements - some knowledge of basic electronics, beginning robotics - Experience working with groups of kids - understand Engineering fundamentals - familiarity with laser cutting and 3D printing and 3D modeling - A fondness for working with cardboard, wood, paper and other craft materials. - Customer management experience (comfortable working directly with clients, fielding phone calls, corresponding with customers/instructors and updating website and social media) - Comfortable working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop…) - Interest in working in a non-traditional education environment - Experience using spreadsheets and databases - Some familiarity with science, engineering and/or electronics - An interest in learning new skills
