Ready Force staffing is looking for a Part Time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide excellent health care to our private clients.

Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care and treatment to patients in their home. Provide & assist in direct patient care under the supervision of the charge nurse (RN) as directed by the treatment team. Provide medical management of patients. Document patient care, ensure that data is accurate, & that it is included in the master treatment plan via timely nursing care plan updates.

Responsibilities:

• Providing great patient care.

• Answering patient calls and determining how best to help them

• Experience with dementia patients, feeding tube and providing care to diabetic patients

• Monitor patient’s vitals and record them in their file

• Providing routine care, observing patients’ health, and communicating instructions to patients

• Administering prescribed medications orally and intravenously

• Developing and following plans for individual nursing care

• Coordinating with nurses and doctors and monitoring patient progress

• Assisting in emergency situations and administering CPR if needed

• Maintain the cleanliness and comfort of each patient, including bathing, feeding and dressing

• Assist nursing and medical staff with basic medical tasks, such as administering medication

• Update patient records in a confidential manner

• Evaluate the patient’s wellbeing, reporting any needs to medical staff

• Explain treatments and procedures to patients and families

• Change dressings and bandages, ensuring patients are healing properly

• Move patients from wheelchairs, beds and gurneys

• Experience with a variety of treatments plans, glucose monitoring and administering insulin
