Job Description

Diamond Shores is a full-service land development firm that offers land surveying, civil engineering, real estate, and other related services. We are seeking an experienced Land Survey Coordinator to fill a key position within our land surveying department full-time. The applicant will be working in conjunction with a Professional Land Surveyor and other Land Surveying professionals to perform various tasks in an office setting. Our ideal candidate will be a professional and organized individual who can fill several roles while working effectively with our surveying, engineering, and planning team members.

Responsibilities:

Assisting the Surveying Manager with the following day to day tasks:

• Coordinating survey crews and projects.
• Work with clients to schedule survey jobs.
• Prepare various types of survey plats including As-Built, Boundary, Topographic, Tree, ALTA, etc.
• Collaborate with planners, engineers, and project managers regarding projects.
• Provide daily support for survey field crews for ongoing projects.
• Possible occasional field work including courthouse research, quality assurance, field visits, etc.

Experience:

• At least 1 year experience with survey related CAD - AutoCAD, Civil3D, Carlson Survey, etc.
• Ability to read and interpret survey plats, deeds, legal descriptions, easements, and right of ways.
• Ability to understand construction plans and general construction principles.
• General knowledge of field surveying practices, equipment, and methods.
• Previous experience on a survey field crew preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Earth.
• 3D Modeling experience is preferred.
• Honest, dependable, thorough, and strong work ethic..
