Seeking full time Gardener for small, women-owned gardening company in Portland. 

Smiling Gardens provides garden design, revitalization, planting, pruning, ongoing maintenance and more. We work with plants and soil with an ecological mindset. We do fine gardening, no mowing lawns. We are a small crew looking to add a positive, adaptable, and reliable person to our team.

Position starts mid-February.  Experience/interest in gardening, horticulture or plant identification is preferred. 

Must be able to lift 50 lbs and be willing to work outside in all weather conditions. Excellent communication skills are essential. Drivers license, good driving record and reliable car required to drive to and from residential job sites in the Portland metro area. Looking for someone who is willing to also drive the work truck from North Portland. 

Starting wage is $20-22/hour. Medical and Dental insurance is offered.  Paid time off and paid holidays available after introductory period. Mileage compensation provided.
