Are you passionate about tennis and skilled at coaching players of all ages and skill levels? We are seeking a dedicated Tennis Instructor to join our team in Falls Church. As a Tennis Instructor, you will have the opportunity to share your love for the game and help our students develop their tennis skills, from beginners to advanced players.

Responsibilities:

Tennis Coaching:
Conduct tennis lessons for both children and adults.
Provide individual and group instruction to students of various skill levels, ranging from beginners to advanced players.
Develop lesson plans and training programs tailored to the specific needs and goals of each student.
Skill Development:
Focus on improving fundamental tennis techniques, including forehand, backhand, serving, and net play.
Teach strategies and tactics for singles and doubles play.
Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment to motivate students to reach their full potential.
Safety and Sportsmanship:
Emphasize the importance of sportsmanship, fair play, and respect for opponents.
Ensure that all tennis activities are conducted safely and in accordance with club/organization policies.
Progress Tracking:
Assess students' progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
Keep accurate records of lessons, attendance, and student performance.
Customer Service:
Interact professionally with parents, students, and club members.
Address inquiries, concerns, and requests in a courteous and timely manner.
Qualifications:

Previous experience as a Tennis Instructor/coach is required.
Proficiency in teaching both children and adults is essential.
Strong knowledge of tennis techniques, strategies, and rules.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans.
Patience, enthusiasm, and a passion for the sport.
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
USPTA or PTR certification is a plus.
Schedule:

The schedule for this position may vary and can include weekdays, evenings, and weekends to accommodate the availability of our students. As a Tennis Instructor, you will not only be a coach but also a mentor, guiding our students towards a lifelong love of tennis and helping them develop valuable life skills through the sport.
