Summary:

• Job Title: Fabrication Technician
• Job Type: Full-time employee
• Hours of Operation: normal business (8 AM – 5 PM ET, M-F)
• Reading plans and understands processes to build units utilizing various hand tools and machinery, quality control of finished, and other warehouse and machine shop responsibilities. 
• Rate of Pay: $17.00/hr. - $20.00/hr. based on experience (annual salary of $35,360.00 - $41,600.00), plus bonuses*

Responsibilities:

• Understand plans and processes to build units
• Complete precision work with various hand tools and machinery
• Quality Control of finished units. Identify hazards and defects
• Package, label, and box finished units
• Clean and maintain all machinery, tools, and equipment while maintaining a clean working area
• Be a productive and positive member of a team 
• Complete tasks within a set deadline
• Maintain inventory of parts. Assist with audits
• Handle and use Various Chemicals and Adhesives
• Use proper safety measure and PPE
• Report directly to Lead of Fabrication
• Flexibility to work in other roles and functions

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Skill in the care and use of the industry tools and equipment
• Required: valid US driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must pass a 7 year background check and drug screening
• Ability to work alone or in small teams for projects
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be resourceful, reliable, and respectful
• Must have a positive and professional attitude
• Must be proficient with:
  • Chop Saw
  • Drill and Drill Press
  • Grinding Wheel
  • Rotary tools (Dremel)
  • Xacto Knife and cutting tools
  • Hot Knife
• Basic understanding of Windows computers
• Working with plastics and metal
• Basic wiring

(Tools and equipment will be provided)
