We are Scotty's Industrial Products located in Buena Park, California.

This is an hourly office position involving purchasing and selling items to customers. Customers will send in requests for estimates, the Purchasing Associate will research those items and put together an estimate which the customer will likely then approve. Then, the Purchasing Associate will purchase those items from subcontractors.

We are looking for a responsible Purchasing Associate to fulfill customer's requests to purchase items. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction. Customers use mainly email, but sometimes they will call.

Responsibilities:
Receive Request for Quote from customer
Send Quote to customer
Receive Purchase Order from Customer
Send Sales order to Customer
Purchase the ordered items through various vendors
Give list to Warehouse Associate of items that the customer purchased

Skills:
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Ability to navigate websites
Normal use of Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Trustworthy
Ability to learn the software used to create the documents described in the Responsibilities section (We will train.)

Hours can be full or part time. Pay depends on employee's experience, around the $22-27 range.
