Responsibilities:

Provide counseling to targeted client population.
Inform individuals on the benefits of counseling.
Provide encouragement and support to clients.
Demonstrate a basic understanding of common mental health issues.
Use effective communication skills with clients and colleagues.
Be respectful of the clients' sensitivity during sessions.
Know the basic goals of therapy for common mental health disorders.
Supervision will be provided as required
Associate licensure required or intern will have to obtain no more than 30 days after hire

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
