Maintenance Technician

Position Summary:

Home2Suites by Hilton - Franklin/Cool Springs is currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join their team in the Franklin, TN area. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all facilities within a designated area, as well as assisting in the coordination of facility maintenance and upkeep. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of all types of buildings and facilities, as well as be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Functions:

• Ensure all facility facilities are maintained to include HVAC, carpentry, painting, electrical and plumbing.
• Perform routine maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
• Coordinate with other department personnel to ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Provide support to sales team with on-site customer questions and concerns.
• Ensure all exterior and interior signs are maintained to specifications and company policy.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

Position Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or equivalent experience of (3) three to (5) years with a stable work history.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to use basic hand tools.
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, push, pull, climb ladders and walk for extended periods of time.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
