Behavioral therapists work with patients (mostly children) who have been diagnosed with mental disorders or with clients who are attempting to overcome personal challenges or change behaviors.

Responsibilities include

• assessing patient condition,
• fostering positive behavior,
• minimizing negative habits,
• monitoring progress,
• working with parents to achieve goals set based on individualized plans
• helping improve patients' lives by implementing individualized plans created by our BCBA/direct supervisors that meet their needs,
• taking data regarding clients' behavior and entering data into our software,
• Counseling knowledge, patience, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and an approachable personality are required for the position.

Pay Range: $18 - $23 per hour - depending on experience.
