As a Start-Up located in the Woodmont Triangle in Bethesda, we specialize in artisan gluten-free treats for celiac disease and sensitive people, but also for those who are not. JOSEPHINE GF mainly sells delicious savory and sweet waffles to-go, pastries, bread, drinks, and coffee to-go.

As a qualified Counter Staff, you will be the first point of contact for our lovely customers and be responsible for delivering pleasant guest service and hospitality. You will have a working knowledge of all JOSEPHINE GF products, offering delicious gluten-free savory and sweet dishes, pastries, bread, and snacks, operating the point of sale (PoS) register, and keeping a clean and organized workspace. Working for a Start-up will require additional efforts to succeed in developing our know-how; helping out the entire work team in its several tasks could be needed.

Interest in gluten-free food and a love for the food business, in general, will be an asset and a must at JOSEPHINE GF.

Counter Sales member primary responsibilities and requirements:

• Knowledge of all JOSEPHINE GF products
• Delivery of delicious food
• Using a cash register
• Keep a clean and organized workspace.
• Provide the highest-quality customer service
• Maintain safety standards at all times while adhering to our policies and procedures
• Maintains a clean and well-stocked store.
• Welcome guests to our store while engaging with them throughout their experience.
• Determine guests' needs by asking questions and sharing product knowledge.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Salary: Up to $16.00 per hour
