We are looking for a reading/writing tutor to work with our 6-year-old for approximately 1 hour per day, M-T-Th-F, preferably 9am-10 a.m. (but flexible on the time if need be). 6-year-old is currently homeschooled and due to the curriculum of her previous kindergarten, is behind in both reading and writing. She is currently in OT due to having some gross and fine motor development issues that have made writing exceptionally tough for her (she tires out very easily). We would love someone kind and patient who can help her work on writing to grade level, as well as reading. She is currently able to read most short vowel words and knows some sight words, but we would like help in expanding those skills (working on blending, long vowel words and the mechanics of reading) and getting her reading at 1st grade level (and beyond)!
