Full Job Description
The Solar panel sales associate will be responsible for assisting sales managers and promoting the sale of solar modules in the US on the east coast. The sales associate works directly with potential clients offering a full range of Solar4america solar panel products.
Compensation: Competitive base Pay plus commission and benefits, uncapped earning potential
Hours: Full-time with a minimum of 40hrs /week. The schedule may vary and requires flexibility to include early mornings, nights and weekends.
Location: Columbia or Sumter SC preferred
Responsibilities
1. Business Development:
· Identify and research potential clients and market segments to drive business growth.
· Present our products and services in a compelling and informative manner.
2. Lead Follow-up and Order Generation:
· Communicate with leads promptly and effectively, addressing their inquiries, providing relevant information and converting them into active clients.
· Process orders accurately, ensuring seamless coordination with internal departments for fulfillment.
3. Sales reporting:
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, lead interactions, and order details.
· Create regular sales reports for management to track progress and make informed decisions.
4. Setting Periodic Sales Goals:
· Collaborate with the sales manager to set personal sales targets.
· Develop strategies and action plans to meet or exceed these goals within specified timeframes.
· Regularly assess progress towards sales goals and adapt strategies as necessary.
5. Trade Shows and Events:
· Represent the company at industry trade shows, exhibitions, and events to showcase our offerings.
· Engage with potential clients, gather feedback, and establish connections with industry peers.
· Contribute to the planning and organization of trade show logistics as needed.
6. Positive Company Representations:
· Uphold the company's values and image by demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and enthusiasm.
· Foster positive relationships with clients, partners and communities to enhance the company's reputation.
· Act as an ambassador for the company, consistently delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Good understanding of Quoting, Margin, Sales Tax, Etc.
• Good understanding of Sales Management and willingness to excel in Sales Training.
• Previous experience in sales, customer service, or business development is a plus.
Qualifications
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must have a good driving record.
• Willingness to travel.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
