Metropulos Fine Foods Merchant (Funk Zone Santa Barbara)

We are a small market/cafe, seeking a Front of the House workers to join our team.

This is a day-time position 4-6 days per week. Shifts always fall during lunch times, so if you are not available (at minimum) during the hours of 10-2, please do not apply. Thanks!

compensation: 16-18, DOE
employment type: part-time/full-time

Duties

• Run cash register and answer phones
• Provide customers with outstanding, friendly service
• Price merchandise and stock shelves
• Create displays, store signage, specials signs
• Keep products and display areas clean
• Help serve from our deli cases and run food to tables
• Set up tables and chairs in the morning and breakdown at end of day
• Clean & mop as needed

Qualifications
Small grocery, restaurant, or food service experience preferred.

Customer service experience required; need to enjoy providing an outstanding customer experience
You should be upbeat, polite, hard working, positive, outgoing
Flexible and creative
Professional appearance
Great attention to detail

Ability to remain positive during busy lunch rushes.

Need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds

Fluent English

4-6 lunch shifts per week, with Saturdays included
