Crown Adolescent is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mental Health Therapist to join our dedicated team and provide therapeutic services to patients in our Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program. Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for adolescent patients in the Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program.

Provide evidence-based individual therapy sessions to address a wide range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, and behavioral challenges.

Facilitate therapeutic groups, utilizing various therapeutic modalities, to enhance social skills, emotional regulation, and problem-solving abilities among adolescent patients.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and case managers, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for each patient.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.

Participate in regular case conferences and team meetings to discuss patient progress, treatment strategies, and discharge planning.

Stay informed about current research and best practices in adolescent mental health treatment, and apply this knowledge to improve therapeutic interventions.

Provide crisis intervention and support as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients in urgent situations.

Foster a supportive and therapeutic environment for patients, promoting a sense of belonging, trust, and empowerment.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field. (Licensure or licensure eligibility is required in the state where the program is located.)

Minimum of [X] years of experience providing therapy to adolescents in a mental health or behavioral health setting.

Strong clinical skills in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Experience facilitating therapeutic groups and implementing group therapy techniques suitable for adolescents.

Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness-Based Therapies.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build strong therapeutic alliances with adolescent patients and their families.

Knowledge of ethical and legal guidelines governing mental health practice and the ability to adhere to confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with colleagues to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Flexibility to adapt to changing program needs and work with a diverse population of adolescents.

CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe).
