We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Art Teacher to join our school community to help foster creativity and love for artistic pursuits. Current art program spans Grades K-4; however, we are interested expanding that program to include Grades 5-8 with the help of the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement lesson plans for Art classes across Grades K-4, and potentially Grades 5-8, incorporating Catholic values and teachings
· Deliver engaging and interactive Art instruction, tailored to meet the diverse needs and abilities of students
· Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback on their creative and spiritual development
· Fill grades into report cards in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring transparency and accountability
· Infuse Catholic faith and values into your teaching, fostering students' understanding and appreciation of their faith
· Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that reflects Catholic values and promotes student learning and growth
· Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the broader Catholic community to support students' holistic development
· Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school-wide Catholic events as required
