Position: Production Artist / Jr. Graphic Designer

Salary: $40,000 - $55,000 based on skills/experience

 

Overview

Buffalo Groupe is a collection of agencies, events and media properties dedicated to “escape marketing” in the realms of active sport, outdoor recreation, wellness, travel and tourism and real estate. Buffalo Groupe is looking for a graphic designer to join the creative team and work on a wide range of clients with an emphasis on golf clubs and country clubs for the first year to two years. This position is available in-office (Charleston, SC), hybrid or fully remotely.

Key Functions:

  • Mastering proprietary design software with the ultimate goal of assuming a managerial role overseeing the program’s utilization

  • Taking established brand standards and/or campaign look and feel to apply to various deliverables across a variety of clients and industries (with a heavy golf emphasis)

  • Taking an established deliverable and revising based on feedback/direction or resizing it, as needed

  • Designing digital-appropriate creative, including banner ads, emails, social media posts, etc.

  • Designing and/or updating decks (Google Slides, PPT) for client presentations, pitches, and proposals

  • Supporting senior-level design team on concepting and campaigns, as needed

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Solid typographic and composition ability

  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite is essential

  • Experience with M------------, Creatopy, Canva, PageProof, a plus

  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and make the most of available time

  • Self-motivation, strong organizational skills, extreme attention to detail

  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight schedules

  • Strong interpersonal skills (verbal, written, etc.)

  • Professional attitude and demeanor

  • Adaptable/flexible approach with a can-do attitude; no job is too big or small

  • 1-3 years of professional experience, bachelor's degree a plus
