The Rosedale Preschool is a new Preschool located in North Central Austin. We are searching for lead teachers. Our ideal candidate will have a genuine love for children, management skills, an understanding of exceptional customer service and good organizational skills. With our boutique sized school, play-based curriculum and strong parent-teacher network we will help children prepare for the next level of education. There will be an opportunity to grow within the company as the school grows.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct preschool-aged children in activities designed to promote intellectual and creative growth
• Create a fun and safe learning environment
• Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
• Communicate with parents on students' growth and progress
• Maintain the health and safety of all students

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field and/Or 5 years of early childhood management experience preferred.
• Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields
• Passionate about working with children
• Ability to build rapport with children
• Positive and patient demeanor
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
