Christensen Landscape Services, an award-winning design build residential landscape construction and maintenance company seeks a creative and motivated Landscape Designer to join and grow with our very busy Landscape Design division.
As one of our design team you will have an incredible opportunity to work on diverse sustainable landscapes for high end residential customers. You will assist in designing all types of outdoor rooms and complicated planting plans for some of the most beautiful and prestigious landscapes in the New Haven County area. You will learn on site project management and be part of an organically minded company, NOFA certified.
We work with Architects, Builders and Home Owners. We design pool areas, outdoor kitchens, fireplaces and fire pits. We work on many full property designs for new homes and major renovations. We design native wetland walks and formal parterre gardens. We also design and install many seasonal container plantings. As a member of the design build team you will assist the other members of the team while learning and growing to be an independent designer yourself.
Must have:
- 4 year degree, bachelors in landscape architecture, landscape design certification or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-3 years experience design/ horticulture
- Ability to use cad based design program as well as 3-D modeling software preferred
- Knowledge of hardscapes and plants
General Requirements:
Valid driver license with clean driving record.
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Good physical condition
