Delivery Driver
Sustainable seafood business seeks part-time delivery driver from Half Moon Bay.
The route varies from 5-8 hours on Wednesdays and Fridays. The specs are as follows: Pick up van in HMB. Drive to Fisherman's Wharf, SF. Pick up fish coolers at our warehouse and deliver them to select locations. Then drive the delivery van back to HMB.
There are more hours available on Tues and Thurs from 9am to 5pm, working in the warehouse in SF. Warehouse tasks include, but are not limited to: wrapping, portioning, weighing fish and shellfish, washing out coolers and bins, checking and organizing orders. And carrying full coolers (up to 70 lbs).
We are looking for people who are:
1, Passionate or curious about seafood, the oceans, and the future of sustainable seafood
2. Intelligent, organized and motivated with a keen attention to detail and care for our seafood including sanitation and safety
3. Have a sense of humor, diverse musical tastes, affinity for physical labor, and appreciation for the fishing/fishmongering community.
4. Able to stand/sit for long periods of time, lift up to 80 pounds, bend, squat, and reach repeatedly
5. Corny as it sounds, we like self motivated, team players.
6. Drivers earn $23.00 per hour. Non drivers = $21.00

Sea Forager Seafood (------------) is a community supported fishery (CSF) that partners with local, small-scale fishermen using ethical fishing practices to provide sustainable and delicious seafood to passionate home cooks.
