Baker Assistant
Our team is looking for a passionate and committed baker assistant to join our bakery team. As a Baker Assistant, you’ll work closely with our bakers to create delicious breads and pastries that keep customers coming back for more. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves to bake to learn and develop in a fast-paced bakery setting.
Requirements:
Previous experience in baking/working in a bakery environment
Ability to work morning and afternoon shifts (starting at 5:30 AM)
Previous experience in cake assembly and decoration is a plus but it not mandatory
Responsibilities:
Preparing and measuring ingredients accurately according to recipes.
Contribute to the baking process by mixing doughs, batters, and other components, and shaping doughs and pastries before the baking process.
Operate baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, and proofing machines under supervision.
Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure consistent and top-quality results.
Participate in decorating and garnishing baked goods with creativity and precision.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, uphold hygiene and safety standards, and help other kitchen staff during down-time as needed.
Collaborate effectively with team members to fulfill customer orders efficiently.
We are unable to provide free parking due to the downtown location.
We are looking for someone who can work 4 shifts per week starting at 5:30 AM with a range of 6 to 8 hours of work per day.
