Lead Installer
Appliance By Design is growing!!
We are looking for an upbeat and customer service orientated candidate to help lead our new installation team.
The installation team leader performs all the activities necessary to handle products from point of our warehouse facility through the final delivery and installation in the customer/ contractor's project location. The position requires the ability to handle large and bulky items as an individual or with assistance when necessary. The position requires the ability to manage time efficiently and to put safety and care of our team, our customer’s property and our merchandise at a premium at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate and direct a Team of up to 5 Installers.
-Delegate tasks to employees best positioned to complete them.
-Hold team accountable.
-Serve as the single point of contact for Contract Manager.
-Ensure all projects are completed safely and on schedule.
- Unload Vendor Deliveries with caution and care.
- Verification of bill of lading and vendor invoices for accurate receiving.
- Management of product placement and stacking within project sites.
- Deliver and do basic installation of appliances at project sites.
- Prepare and verification of appropriate paperwork prior to deliveries and installations, including recording of serial numbers for inventory control.
- Inspect product slated for your deliveries to ensure product is not damaged.
- Prepare product for delivery using appropriate measures such as use of blankets and strap dollies to ensure no damage.
- Use protective items in the project site to ensure we do not damage the property
- Ensuring paperwork with serial numbers is turned into store sales team for immediate invoicing upon delivery completion
- Miscellaneous Duties as assigned
Work experience requirements:
- Able to lift 75 lbs. consistently throughout the day
- Able to use hand trucks and dollies efficiently
- Knowledge of basic electrical and plumbing connections preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
