Duties of Teacher
To coordinate with the head teacher on classroom operation, including:
--preparing and maintaining the classroom environment
--working with the children one-on-one
--representing the school at school events
--ensuring the safety and well-being of students during the school day

Hours
8:30 to 12:30 Monday through Friday, when school is in session

Outside of these required hours, additional hours will include whatever extra time is needed for classroom preparation and/or clean-up, training classes, and attendance at extra-curricular events sponsored by the school.

Training requirements
Creative Montessori School requires that full time teachers maintain current certification in Infant/Child CPR and First Aid, attend weekly staff meetings, and participate in an annual review. The Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services requires a criminal record check, negative TB skin test, and receiving15 hours of training annually. Cost of training classes will be paid by the school.

Salary
An annual contract will be made between the school and the teacher, setting the salary for the year, which be monthly. The teacher will make every effort to fulfill the full term of the contract.
