8:30 am – 12:30 pm; M, Th, & F 2025-2026 School Year, beginning August 28, 2025. RWS Assistant Teachers are responsible for assisting the classroom Lead Teacher in providing instruction and nurturing for a class of young children. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Assist Lead Teacher in the preparation of instructional materials, planning, and teaching, as directed. 2. Participate in regular planning and student evaluation meetings with Lead Teacher. 3. Assist in operational assignments such as carpool and maintenance of the classroom and playground. 4. Assist Lead Teacher in conducting observations and assessments. 5. Assist Lead Teacher in the preparation for and conducting parent/teacher conferences. 6. Participate in 16 hours of paid professional development. 7. Participate in staff planning days, staff meetings, and special events sponsored by the School. 8. Perform other duties and responsibilities as may be designated by the director. 9. Participate in setting individual goals for the year.
