The company’s products include round Manholes, Catch Basins, Culverts, Curb Inlets, Drop Inlets, Headwalls, Junction Boxes, and Reinforced Concrete Pipe. Alcrete Industries’ product is primarily for the movement of storm water purchased by excavating, utility, grading, and site contractors.

Position Overview

The role of a Team Leader at Alcrete Industries is to oversee the staff and operations of a production department. The Team Leader is to ensure that product is made safely, efficiently, and within quality specifications. Additionally, Team Leaders are to ensure their production area meets company standards for housekeeping, organization, and plant cleanliness.

The Team Leader is to lead the production department while fulfilling Alcrete core values of excellence and integrity.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and direct production staff of the department while working with the team to complete the daily production schedule as determined by the Production Manager.

o Includes the full team starting the production shift at the scheduled time.

- Ensure the safety of all team members in the department.

- Ensure structures are produced to quality specifications.

- Pursue efficiency improvements in the overall production process.

- Lead the team to ensure the housekeeping, organization, and cleanliness of the department including an end of shift clean up period.

- Participate with the Production Manager in the annual performance review of department team members.

- Ensure that the needs of the department, including supplies and tools, are properly communicated to the Production Manager, and delivered to the team members.

- Participate in determining department layout and structure.

Salary: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
