McInnis Engineering has an immediate opening for a civil engineering technician in Tacoma. Our goal is to become the go-to civil engineering and land planning firm in the South Puget Sound. The successful candidate will be community-minded and proficient in AutoCAD and other design applications. Knowledge of Civil 3D a bonus, but not required. A knowledge of how to efficiently compile project plan sets in conformance with local requirements is preferred.

On a day-to-day basis, the job responsibilities will include working with project managers, engineers, and other team members to develop plans and reports, working with local jurisdictions on plan requirements and permitting requirements, and working with team members and other disciplines to provide excellent design that meets client needs and applicable regulations.
