JOB DESCRIPTION
JOB SUMMARY
Under the general supervision of the Director of Dining, the Assistant Director of Dining, Health Care Manager, or Independent Living Manager, this position will support the community and the residents by providing meals to be served in the dining room, serving meals in a dining room environment, and cleaning up the designated areas upon completion of meals.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

Performs duties in accordance with local and state health requirements
Properly cleans and maintains equipment (i.e. deliming dish machine), kitchens, and dining rooms
Complete daily task assigned by managers/supervisors
Wearing proper uniform
Healthcare server specific
Work on a meal assembly line at an assigned station, placing specified food, condiments, napkins, utensils, etc., transport completed trays, clean and sanitize serving line and kitchenet.
Independent Living server specific
Take the Resident’s food order (starter, main entrée, and dessert), put orders in the POS system, and bring the food out in an accurate and timely manner.
Perform other duties as assigned such as any server position, utilities, or prep cook as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Must be able to lift, push and pull up to 30 lbs
High School students encouraged to apply. Must be able to meet all requirements of the employment process
Able to read, write, and follow written and verbal directions in English.
Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
Excellent attendance record in previous positions
Basic knowledge of proper food serving and handling
Able to obtain Food Handler's Certificate
