Hot Mama Salsa
Starting Pay: $18 hour plus trade
7-8 hours a week, with seasonal variability and option to add more hours
Hours: Sunday 8am-3:30pm
Hot Mama Salsa produces delicious and authentic fresh salsas, bottled hot sauces, Mexican style chili oils, and the best corn tortilla chips in town.
Required Qualifications:
Oregon Food Handlers Card (or willing to acquire within 2 weeks)
Must be able to work on your feet throughout 5-10 hour shifts.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds without medical concern Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Preferred Qualification:
Prior customer service experience
A passion for cooking, whole foods, traditional recipes, and chili peppers. Ideal candidates will be detail- oriented, multi-tasking, self-motivated, willing to learn, and highly reliable.
Reliable vehicle with cargo space (truck, wagon, van) and comprehensive insurance coverage

Duties Include:
Picking up goods and equipment at our commercial kitchen
Driving to and setting up farmers markets
Interact with customers to explain our products, their flavors, and their many uses
Receive payment for goods
Track sales and expenses at market
Communicate with manager about needs at the booth or requests from customers
Break down market booth and return unsold goods and equipment to kitchen
Wash utensils, table cloths, and coolers used at market
Additional Duties May Include:
Grocery store demos, festivals and special events
