Gymnastics Coach
We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Coach to join our team. Our ideal candidate enjoys working with children, is reliable, and knows how to make learning Gymnastics & Ninja skills fun for our youth athletes.
We have two locations we are seeking to fill positions at:
Eau Claire:
Hours are generally within the following time frame with occasional weekends and staff meetings required:
June-August: Monday-Wednesday 4pm-8pm
September-May: Monday-Thursday 4pm-8pm
Menomonie:
Hours are generally within the following time frame with occasional weekends and staff meetings required:
June-August: Monday-Tuesday: 4pm-8pm
September-May: Monday-Thursday 4pm-8pm
Responsibilities:
Teach gymnastics & ninja skills to children of all ages and abilities
Ensure a safe and positive learning environment for all athletes
Provide constructive feedback to students and assist them in setting goals and tracking progress
Communicate effectively with athletes and their guardians regarding their progress and any concerns
Maintain and organize gym equipment and ensure a clean and tidy gym environment
Requirements:
Experience with coaching gymnastics and working with children preferred, but we’re willing to train the right candidate
Must be able to pass a background check and have a clean criminal record
Must have reliable transportation to and from the gym
Available during our hours of operation
Must be able to attend remote monthly meetings
Must be able to attend in-person training held four times throughout the year
Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Must be able to perform job functions of standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, and pulling
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs
