Landscape Maintenance
Valley of the Flowers Landscaping, Inc. is a full-service landscaping firm that believes in environmental enhancement through professional landscape horticulture. We specialize in drought tolerant landscaping, native design and reclamation, wildflower fields, stonework, and perennial gardens. We are looking for responsible, detail oriented, plant loving people to help with our landscape maintenance crews. While experience is not 100% necessary, an eye for design, an ability to work well on a team, and a sense of humor are important.
VOTF offers profit sharing to employees beginning their second year. The position will begin seasonally/hourly but there is opportunity for 401K, health insurance, and year round salaried position with our small company. We work 4 ten hour days so people can get out and play on the weekends!
Start date ASAP through early November, weather and schedule depending.

Garden Maintenance Crew-Members: These people must work well with other people and be willing to listen and independently conduct tasks that the foreman requests. Responsibilities and duties include weed identification and control, herbaceous and woody pruning, spreading compost and mulch, installing/maintaining/harvesting vegetables, maintaining irrigation systems, and mowing and weed-whacking small lawn areas. The ideal candidate will be intelligent, self-motivated, and hard-working in all weather conditions. A positive attitude and attention to detail is a must. Horticultural knowledge is helpful, but not necessary as it can be learned through the experience. Please send cover letter, resume, and 3 professional/character references. Wages DOE.
