Ridge to Rivers Animal Clinic is a small animal veterinary clinic in Viroqua, WI. Our goal is to provide high quality, compassionate veterinary medicine and surgery in a comfortable environment.

We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant to join our team and provide support to our veterinarians.s. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animal care and be able to assist with patient care, laboratory work, radiology, etc. The successful candidate will also be comfortable working with small animals of all sizes and breeds, have excellent communication skills, and be able to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Assist veterinarians in providing medical care to animals.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Assist in the administration of medications and vaccinations.
Perform basic laboratory tests such as blood and urine tests.
Perform blood draws and nail trims.
Prep samples for laboratory send outs.
Provide animal restraint during medical procedures.
Maintain accurate records of patient treatments and progress.
General housekeeping, laundry and kennel upkeep.
Assist with Reception, greeting clients, answering phones, and scheduling appointments.
Vet Techs are encouraged to apply.

Salary Commensurate with experience.
