Ascension Habilitative Support Services is seeking caring and compassionate Direct Support Professionals to support individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities in residential settings in the New London and Norwich areas. Duties include support and training in areas of daily living skills, transportation and support with medical, dental and clinical appointments, as well as transportation and support with community based social, educational and vocational pursuits. Our Direct Support Professionals also provide personal support and companionship and offer general counsel and guidance to the individuals we serve. Our Direct Support Professionals work to foster an inclusive environment where supports are provided in a respectful manner with a focus on individual choice and right to self-determination.
