Caregivers Needed! (Eastside King County)

You can earn while you learn! Join our team, and we will assist you with the costs of becoming a licensed caregiver. We have positions available at our homes in Bellevue and Kirkland. Please respond to this ad via email if you would like to schedule an interview.

DAHLIA Living is looking for dedicated and compassionate caregivers to work with our clients in Bellevue and Kirkland! We operate four homes in Eastside King County for adults with developmental disabilities.

We are currently hiring multiple full- and part-time positions at each of our programs.

Compensation
• $19.00+/hr with no training
• $20.00+/hr with license
• $21.00+/hr with nurse delegation

Minimum Qualifications
• Active state license: CNA or HCA (training assistance provided - you can earn while you learn!)
• Active Food Handler’s Permit
• Ability to lift, move, or assist clients using proper body mechanics
• Pass a criminal background and fingerprint check, as required by WA state law
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and coworkers

Preferred Qualifications
• Nurse delegation
• At least one (1) year of caregiving experience
• Valid Driver’s License, proof of current auto insurance

Responsibilities
• Follow individual client care plans
• Physical caregiving tasks: transferring, bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding
• Assisting clients with daily activities
• Housekeeping tasks: meal preparation, laundry, cleaning

With four combined programs, DAHLIA Living is home to 25 adults with developmental disabilities. Our residents are active in their communities and many have jobs or attend camps. They all get to come home at night to their own room in their own home. Our staff encourage each resident to achieve their potential, and we strive to build self-esteem and sense of family for each individual.
