Our Tigard general practice office is looking for an experienced full or part time dental hygienist. This position is 2-4 days a week. We are seeking someone who is a friendly team player, adaptable, and detail oriented. Monday - Thursday hours available

Required qualifications

Dentrix software experience
Current valid dental hygiene license
CPR certification
Local anesthetic certification

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination
Sterilize dental instruments properly
Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history
Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis
Clean and help protect patients’ teeth
Take X-rays or dental impressions
Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases
Maintain documentation and charts on each patient
