Sales Associate
47 Bakery LLC is looking for a Sales Associate to join our team! You will be in charge of setting up for markets, collecting payments, tracking inventory, maintaining our excellent reputation and assisting the Sales Lead in all tasks and activities. As a salesperson, you will need to have a strong knowledge of our products (and their ingredients).
WE ARE LOOKING TO HIRE SEASONAL, PART-TIME EMPLOYEES FOR XLVII's Bakery (47 in Roman Numerals). We are the #1 pretzel bakery in Colorado. We specialize in authentic artisan Bavarian pretzels and European sourdough breads. We sell a variety of flavors of these products at farmers markets, as well as an assortment of authentic French pastries. Our ideal candidate for the job is honest, trustworthy, reliable, and hardworking, as well as energetic, fun, and customer service driven. We have an exceptional reputation at the farmers markets, and it is very important that we are always taking the best care of our customers in order to maintain that. We offer competitive hourly compensation along with the opportunity to make tips and bonuses.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Customer service skills!
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to sustain a positive and friendly attitude
Ability to lift 40 pounds
Ability to stand/be on your feet for an extended period of time
Available at least one day every weekend
Valid Driver’s License
Ability to commute to Thornton, CO 80241
Comfortability driving RAM PROMASTER or similar large vehicle
Expected at the bakery (located in Thornton, CO) at 5am the earliest, and should expect to work approximately 10hours per shift. You will then arrive at the assigned market 2 hours before start time, and would be done after the set up is broken down and packed into the bakery vehicle.
We are currently searching for people to work both Saturday and Sunday markets but we require availability at least one weekend day.
Pay starts at $16/hour plus tips (usual range is from $100-$400 per event)
