Event Setup Assistant is responsible for delivery and setup of special events, corporate events, weddings, etc. Event Assistant should be friendly, responsive, knowledgeable, passionate. Key duties include packing catering orders and successfully delivering orders on-time. Must have excellent customer service skills and drivers license.

This position can be part time or full time and you can select the events you wish to setup so there is schedule flexibility. Working weekends is a must. Most wedding and catering deliveries happen in the afternoons during the week and Saturdays and Sundays.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

- Ensure Accuracy of Products and Orders

- Accurately pack event, wedding and catering orders – counting desserts to ensure customer is receiving exactly what was ordered

- Ensure cleanliness standards and food safety are always maintained

- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Problem solving ability

- Delivery and setup of catering orders such as waffle bars, corporate events and wedding setups including cakes, dessert bars, tiered
cakes, etc.

- Must be able to lift 40 - 50lbs comfortably

- Display rental setup before events and tear down / pick up after events

- Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks of display rentals and delivery / dessert bins

- Floral design on cakes

- Excellent customer service and attitude
