Assembly Operator
Graver Technologies is an Industrial Filter Element and Filter Housing (Vessel) Manufacturer located in Honeoye Falls, NY and a member of The Marmon Group (a Berkshire Hathaway Company), an international corporation with more than $9 billion in annual sales. We are seeking a 1st Shift & 2ndShift Assembly Operators to work in our Vessel Shop to support the manufacture of High-Pressure Vessels & Filter Housings.
** 1st Shift Hours: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Monday-Friday) **
** 2nd Shift Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Monday-Friday)
Summary:
The Assembly Operator is responsible for assembling products, using machinery and hand tools to make manufacturing products to meet required specifications.
Responsibilities:
· Use appropriate tools and processes (hand tools, machinery etc.) to manufacture products to meet required specifications.
· Communicates regularly with team members and management regarding concerns, discrepancies, and continuous improvement efforts/ideas.
· Follows Graver Technologies’ work safety requirements and works safely in general all the time.
· Maintains clean and organized work area.
· Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Education:
· High school graduate or equivalent
Skill and Experience:
· Ability to read, write and interpret general documents such as work instructions, manuals, and job packages.
· Ability to communicate in verbal and written form to supervisor on questions specific to processes and manufacturing status.
· Ability to accurately read a measuring tape and do basic math calculations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and divide.
· Previous experience in manufacturing set-up preferred but not required.
· Availability to work overtime as needed.
· Self-motivated and maintains a high level of attendance.
· Ability to lift on average 20lbs of weight and move about 20ft.
