Nanny
ST. MARTEEN / SOUTH FRANCE / ATLANTA / THE WORLD (NATIONWIDE SEARCH) - Busy French-speaking family is seeking a FRENCH SPEAKING FULL-TIME LIVE-IN TRAVEL NANNY who is FLUENT in FRENCH to care for their 2 daughters (11 and 4 years old), speaking Spanish is a bonus. This family is seeking a nanny who can grow long-term with them. The working hours tend to be a split schedule for mornings and then afternoons/evenings. Both daughters are in school full-time (8:30-3 pm) and have various after-school activities. The family would like the nanny to have the flexibility to work Saturday mornings and potential date nights. Preference is for the nanny to work 6 days/week, but the family can be flexible. Both daughters have seasonal and food allergies. Food allergies include peanuts and all tree nuts. There is an Epi-pen in the home, but the children have not had issues in many years.
There are weekly housekeepers and a household manager/personal assistant that help the home run smoothly. Duties include picking up after the children, helping with dishes, taking the kids to school, and picking them up. There will be lots of driving in this position, so the candidate needs to be comfortable driving with children and have a clean driving record. The family will provide a car (Subaru Outback) for transporting their children and running errands. They will also provide gas for anything related to their children.
The perfect candidate will be a strong communicator with the parents. They are seeking a nanny who is entrepreneurial, will help out when they see a need, and picking up would not be beneath the candidate. The home has a pool, so the candidate will need to be a confident swimmer and understands swim safety. Both parents have demanding jobs and really need a nanny who can be confident and self-sufficient during work hours. There should be little to no need for mom to be giving all instructions. Mom works from home in an office in the basement and dad works outside of the home and both require long hours.
The family travels and lives internationally; St. Simons Island, Georgia, St. Maarten-West Indies, and South France. The candidate will need to have a passport and a willingness to travel. The children will also travel with their grandparents for 2 weeks to the south of France. On any vacations the parents choose for the nanny to not accompany the family, the family will guarantee full-time pay.
At the main family home, the nanny will have a private bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. During all travel, the nanny will have a private room. In addition to a car, the nanny will be provided with a work cell phone to use and will have the ability to use their homes (including pools, home gyms, etc.) for personal use (i.e., vacations).
The children speak French and the nanny must also speak French. Covid vaccine is required. The family will pay relocation expenses. Paid sick days + Paid Vacation (2 weeks) + a phone is provided. Start date before 5/1 - Could start sooner. Pay is $25/hr.
