Having decades of experience in the textile recycling industry Standard Recycling Corp. has been at the forefront of industry changing technologies and practices. SRC's mission is to elevate and engage people and businesses to support programs that encourage the diversion of textile waste from Americas landfills.
For our Drivers and Helpers your duties & benefits will include:
· Daily travel and home nightly
· Loading of one truck
· Emptying recycling bins at different local stops
· Carrying and lifting no more than 50lb bags of clothing and shoes
· Clearing any garbage or overflow at each stop if necessary
· No background check or resume necsessary
· Incentivized promotions for great work and attitude
For our warehouse help your duties and benefits will include:
· Mondays: 7am-4pm
· Tues-Fri: 7:30am-4pm
· Home Nightly
· No travel, one location Bronx, NY
· 3 breaks throughout the day including lunch
· Off loading of trucks
· Carrying and lifting no more than 50lb bags of clothing and shoes
· General Warehouse duties
· No background check or resume necessary
· Incentivized promotions for great work and attitude
We are looking for an experienced Drivers and Helpers to help with deliveries across the local area. The ideal candidate is well organized and responsible. The ideal candidate is someone who thinks on their feet, is well-spoken, and has a valid driver's license.
Responsibilities:
Preform daily pre-& post truck inspections
pick-ups from disignated drop centers
Maintain Drop centers keeping them clean & free of clutter
Accurately record data & communicate results with manger
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Route drivers must have a valid driver's license, as well as valid DOT medical card and clean MVR - no driving violations within the past 3 years.
Route drivers must be able to work night, weekends, & have open availability
Must be able to work 9-12 Hours per day
Must be able to perform strenuous physical activities including repetitive movement, bending an lifting up to 50 pounds.
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience driving box trucks ranging in sizes from 16-24 ft.
Route drivers must be able to read and write in English and perform routine math calculations, Spanish speaking a +
Route drivers must follow all safety policies and procedures established by the company
Must at all times obey state driving laws
